FRESH FRUIT COBBLER 
TOPPING:

1 stick butter, soft
1 c. sugar
1 egg

1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

Fill baking dish (any size) with fresh fruit (a combination of plum and peach slices, unpeeled, is wonderful; or berries with peaches and (or) plums).

Optional: Squeeze 1/2 lemon over fruit and mix.

Drop topping over the fruit and spread, pressing to edge of dish. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
