CHOCOLATE BOURBON BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi sweet chocolate morsels
3 measuring tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. bourbon
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Granulated sugar

Melt the chocolate bits over hot (not boiling) water. Remove from heat. Add corn syrup and bourbon. In large bowl, combine vanilla wafer crumbs, confectioners' sugar and nuts; add chocolate mixture and mix well.

Let stand about 30 minutes. Form into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Let season in covered container for several days. Makes 4 1/2 dozen bourbon balls.
