ACINI DE PEPPI SALAD 
1/2 box acini de peppi macaroni
1 lg. can chunky pineapple
1 c. maraschino cherries, cut up
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 lg. can mandarin oranges
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip

Cook macaroni according to directions on the box, drain and cool.

Drain fruit well, saving pineapple juice. Take 1 3/4 cups pineapple juice and add 2 well beaten eggs, sugar, salt and cornstarch. Cook until mixture thickens. Cool until cold. Mix with macaroni. Add drained fruit and mix well. Add Cool Whip and mix well. You may use other fruit but drain well!
