1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend peanut butter, sugar and egg into a medium sized bowl. Add vanilla and mix well. Form into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart. Flatten with a fork, leaving a crisscross design on each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet carefully, as these cookies are very tender when they are warm.
