SOUR DOUGH BREAD 
1/2 c. sugar (or 1/4 c. honey)
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. starter
1/2 c. oil
6 c. flour
1 1/2 c. warm water

Make a stiff dough. Place in a greased bowl. Let rise 8 to 12 hours. Divide into 2 parts. Knead on floured board. Place into two pans (loaf) greased. Let rise 4 to 5 hours (even up to 8 hours). Bake 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes. Whole Wheat Bread: 2 cups whole wheat, 4 cups white flour. Cold weather add package of yeast.
