AUNT BILL'S CANDY 
Melt 2 cups sugar in a heavy skillet. Cook until golden brown. In a large pan combine following ingredients:

4 c. sugar
1 can evaporated milk

Cook until forms a thread. Add melted sugar slowly. Bring to a boil and cook until forms a firm ball. Set off flame. Then stir in the following ingredients:

1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Beat until firm and pour into a 13"x9" pan.
