EASY AND YUMMY POTATOES 
2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
2 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
1 can cream of chicken soup

Combine all ingredients; mix well. Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Excellent for buffet dinner.

I make this, but I add pepper, use frozen o'brien potatoes instead and I sprinkle w/ paprika. Sour cream is a MUST!! Learned this recipe in Utah, so the family calls it Mormon potatoes. Every bite gets eaten at potlucks!
