APPLE CRISP 
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. pared, sliced apples
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. soft butter
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Mix sugar with cinnamon, sprinkle over apples and mix lightly. Spread the apples in a greased baking pan. Sprinkle with water. Blend flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Mix in butter to make a crumbly mixture. Spread over apples. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until top is lightly brown.
