APPLE CRISP 
6 cooking apples (Granny Smith preferred)
1 c. sugar
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter

Slice apples and place in pan. Combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly. Lightly pack mixture on top of apple slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until apples are tender. Serve with lightly sweetened whipped cream.
