12 med. potatoes
1 pt. sour cream
LOTS of chives
1 med. onion (optional)
American grated cheese (comes in can like Parmesan cheese)
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook potatoes and mash. Mix all ingredients in except cheese. Put in a buttered 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Cover heavily with cheese. Cover with foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes.
