BANANA BREAD 
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. Jiffy baking mix
1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2 to 3 medium)
1/3 c. chopped nuts

Cream shortening and sugar, combine remaining ingredients and mix until well blended. Pour in greased pan (loaf pan). Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
