BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. baking mix or Jiffy or Bisquick
1 c. mashed ripe bananas (2-3 med.)
1/3 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x5 inch loaf pan. Cream shortening and sugar. Combine remaining ingredient and mix until well-blended. Pour into prepared pan. Bake about 55 minutes. Cool on rack before slicing.
