HAM AND ZUCCHINI IN CHEESE SAUCE 
1/4 c. almonds, sliced
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 c. macaroni, uncooked
2 1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. zucchini, pared, thinly sliced ( 3 c.)
1 lb. ham, cooked, cubed
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 can mushroom soup
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped

Place almonds in 9 inch glass pie plate. Microwave on high for 6 minutes. Stir every 2 minutes. Set aside.

Combine onion, pepper and oil in 3 quart casserole. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in macaroni, water and salt. Cover and microwave on high for 8 minutes. Add zucchini. Cover and microwave on high for 8 minutes, Stir after 4 minutes. Stir in ham, cheese, soup, milk and parsley. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Stir after 2 minutes. Sprinkle with almonds. Makes 8 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
