PIZZA SUPREME
2 Pillsbury Pizza Dough

2 c. tomato sauce
2 tbsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. Romano cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

TOPPINGS:

3 c. shredded Mozzarella

1 lb. ground beef
12 slices Italian sausage
1 c. onions, finely chopped
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
10 slices smoked sausage

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and mix well. Spread dough into 9"x13" pan. Pour sauce onto dough. Spread evenly.

In a large skillet cook onions, bell pepper and ground beef over medium heat until onions are translucent. Remove from heat and drain excess juices.

Layer pepperoni, sausages, ground meat mixture, mushrooms and Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Then raise temperature to 450 degrees and continue baking for 20 more minutes (until cheese begins to turn golden brown). Let sit 10 minutes before serving.

This has always been my standby pizza recipe, but I do not precook the onions & green pepper, just dice them small. I also add black olive slices a pack of three cheese mixture. The 3 meat the 3 cheese mixture - is outstanding. Would give this 20 stars if possible. I also use an entire jar of pizza quick on crust before adding balance of ingredients.
