BARBEQUED BEEF 
5 lb. ground beef
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. vinegar
2/3 c. water
2 pt. catsup
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 tbsp. dry mustard
2/3 c. onions
2/3 qt. celery
1 tbsp. salt

Cook beef in frying pan until done. Stir frequently to prevent lumping. Keep hot. Make sauce by melting fat and combining with liquids, sugar, vegetables and seasonings. Heat thoroughly but do not cook enough to soften vegetables. Combine sauce with cooked beef and serve on buns.
