6 eggs 1 pkg. yeast (dry yeast) 3/4 c. Crisco oil 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar Anise 1 tsp. anise seed Put yeast in 2 cups warm water. Flour like bread. Set aside for 15 minutes. Make a hole in circle. Put in boiling water until they rise to the top, then put on cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees until brown. (Can use black pepper instead of anise.) |
