BARBEQUE SPARE RIBS 
2-4 lb. spareribs, cut into 2" pieces
Water to cover
2 med. onions, sliced
1 tbsp. salt

MARINADE (4 hours) :
1 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. catsup
2 tbsp. sherry
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 slices ginger, diced

GLAZE:

2 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. soy sauce

Simmer ribs for 1 1/2 hours, covered. Remove and drain. Marinate 4 hours (2-12 as you choose). Bake ribs on rack at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Glaze with honey mix and raise heat to 450 degrees and cook for no longer than 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
