CARAMEL BARS 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter

Crumble as for pie crust. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press rest into buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Melt 32 caramels in 5 tablespoons cream. Pour over baked crust. Sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts over caramel, then crumbs. Bake for 15 mintues. Enjoy.
