JANE'S BARBECUED SHRIMP | |
3 slices bacon, finely chopped 1/2 lb. butter 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper 3 cloves garlic, crushed 1 1/2 lbs. lg. shrimp with shells 1 tsp. Tabasco 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. basil 2 tbsp. crab boil (Old Bay) Fry bacon until clear. Add butter and all else except shrimp. Simmer 5 minutes. Place shrimp in open baking dish in single layer. Pour sauce over; stir well to coat. Cook 20 minutes at 375 degrees without cover, stirring twice during baking. Serve at once. Serves 2-4. |
