SALAD PICKLES 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. water
4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. dill weed
2-3 med. onions
6-8 med. cucumbers

Slice cucumbers and onions thinly. Mix all ingredients and heat to a boil. Cool and put in a plastic container. Keep in refrigerator. These are quick and delicious. Very crispy when refrigerated.
