1/2 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. peanut butter
36 Hershey kisses

Cream butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, peanut butter and water, mix well. Sift dry ingredients together, add to wet mixture. Mix well and drop on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees 10 to 12 minutes. If you want to make kisses cookies, make cookies into balls and as soon as removed form oven press kiss into center of soft warm cookie.
