BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 lb. butter
2 eggs
1 can (No. 303) crushed pineapple, well drained
3 bananas, sliced
1 container, Cool Whip
Bottled chocolate syrup

Beat together flour, nuts, butter and sugar. Pat into pan and bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Cream powdered sugar, butter and eggs. Spread over cooled baked layer. Next layer pineapple and bananas. Top with Cool Whip. Finish with drizzle of chocolate syrup. Top with nuts and cherries. Chill and serve.
