PEPPER STEAK 
2 lb. round steak in 1/2" strips
3 tbsp. oil
1 med. onion, diced
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Pepper
1/4 tsp. ginger
2 green peppers, cut in strips
4 tomatoes, quartered
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. bean sprouts (opt.)

Brown strips of round steak in oil. Add onion, soy sauce, sugar, seasonings, green pepper, tomatoes and water. Cook for 15 minutes. Mix cornstarch with a little water and add. Cook 5 minutes. Bean sprouts may be added last if desired. Serves 4 to 6.
