SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
1 c. sour cream (8 oz.)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sifted flour

Cream together sour cream, sugar, egg, butter, vanilla, baking powder and baking soda. Add flour, one cup at a time and mix well. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 tbsp. butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. lemon flavor

Mix well until creamy. Add milk, if too dry, a tiny bit at a time. Add more sugar, if too moist. Use this frosting or your favorite.
