SOFT SUGAR COOKIES 
4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. soft butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. lemon extract
2 eggs
3/4 c. sour cream

Grease baking sheet lightly. Mix dry ingredients. Cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Then gradually add flour to creamed mixture. Mix very well. Cover bowl and chill in refrigerator an hour or overnight. Be sure to cover with foil or Saran Wrap. Dough is easier to roll out when chilled enough. Remove 1/3 of dough at a time. Roll out on lightly floured pastry cloth or etc. The dough should be about 1/4" thick. Cut out in desired shapes. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes.
