GRANDMOTHER COON'S SUGAR COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. lard
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
Flour enough to make a soft dough
1 rounded tsp. baking powder
1 rounded tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Roll out to about 1/4 inch thick and cut in desired shapes. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
