1 2/3 c. sugar
1 c. butter or shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. baking powder
8-8 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. lemon extract (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together sugar, butter, eggs, sour cream. Stir in baking powder, flour, flavorings. Chill dough. Roll out, sprinkle with a little sugar, and roll over again lightly. Cut into small rounds. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
