shredded cheddar cheese (small block)
green onions (sliced very small)
diced olives (small can)
mayonnaise (just enough to blend mixture together)
petite rye bread (small mini loaves you see during holidays)

Mix cheese, green onion and olives together with just enough mayonnaise to keep it together.

Spread on petite rye bread enough to cover but not fall off when melted.

Broil in oven until cheese is melted and bottom of bread is crisp (this does not take much time). Do not burn! Maybe 5 to 10 minutes at most.
