CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
2 tbsp. oil
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 tbsp. water
Hot cooked rice
Salt to taste
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tomato, cut into wedges

Quickly brown meat in hot oil, add salt, green pepper, onion, soy sauce and garlic powder. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes. Combine cornstarch and water, add to meat mixture, cook until thickened. Add tomatoes and cover and simmer additional 10 minutes. Additional water may be added if needed. Serve over rice.
