SUGARPLUM PUDDING 
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs
3/4 salad oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup prunes (cooked)
1 cup chopped nuts

Mix oil and milk together, set aside. Mix all dry ingredients together, add eggs (beaten). Add salad oil, milk prunes and chopped nuts.

Bake in 325°F oven for 35 minutes or until done.

Glaze:

1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp. Karo syrup
1 stick butter

Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Pour on cake while hot.
