FILET OF BEEF L'ORLY 
8 lb. filet of beef
1/2 c. butter
1/2 bottle catsup
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt
Pepper
Garlic salt

Have beef at room temperature. Rub with butter and season with salts, pepper, and sauce. Place in shallow pan. Broil about 3 inches from heat for 5 minutes on each side. Refrigerate until 1 1/2 hour before serving time.

Roast in 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove all drippings to a saucepan. Add catsup and water, simmer 5 minutes. Pour over beef and roast 10 minutes more.
