BANANA SPLIT REFRIGERATOR
DESSERT
 
2 sticks butter, divided
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar, divided
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 egg whites
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drain well, press to remove liquid
2 lg. bananas
1 lg. container (12 oz.) Cool Whip
Chopped pecans (as desired)

1st Layer: 1 stick butter, melted; 1/2 cup powdered sugar; 2 cups graham cracker crumbs. Mix together and press in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan.

2nd Layer: 2 egg whites; 1 stick butter at room temperature; 2 cups powdered sugar. Beat 10 minutes and spread on 1st layer.

3rd Layer: 1 large can crushed pineapple VERY WELL DRAINED. Spread on 2nd layer.

4th Layer: Slice 2 large bananas lengthwise and put on 3rd layer.

5th Layer: Spread large package Cool Whip on 4th layer.

6th Layer: Sprinkle chopped pecans on 5th layer.

Keep in refrigerator. Can be served in 15 minutes.
