BUTTERMILK PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour, rounded
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Melt butter in 2 quart saucepan. Cool slightly. Mix sugar and flour and stir into butter. Add well beaten eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into a 9 inch deep dish pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool and serve.
