COUNTRY BISCUITS 
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk

Melt butter. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add butter to flour, baking powder, and milk. Mix well! Pat out dough on well-floured board or waxed paper, about 1/2 inch thick. Cut with small biscuit cutter. Place on well-oiled pan and let stand while oven heats to 400 degrees. Bake to a golden brown, about 10 minutes.

May alternate regular milk for buttermilk for a richer biscuit.
