MOTHER'S HEALTHFUL MUFFINS 
1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. oats
2 tbsp. wheat germ
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. buttermilk (can use soured milk)
1/4 c. oil

Mix dry ingredients. Add egg, buttermilk and oil. Pour into greased 12 cup muffin pan. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
