HUNTER'S STEW | |
3 lb. venison round steak, cut in 1-inch cubes Seasoned flour 3 tbsp. fat 1 c. whole tiny onions 1 c. carrots, cut up 1 c. turnips, cut up 1 c. celery, cut up 4 c. cubed potatoes 2 cans cream of celery soup 1 soup can water 1 pkg. frozen peas 1 c. shredded cabbage Roll meat in seasoned flour; brown in hot fat. Place meat in 4-quart casserole; add onions, carrots, turnips, celery, potatoes, soup and water. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Add peas and cabbage; continue baking for 1 hour. |
