CARAMEL NUT BROWNIES 
1 deep dark chocolate cake mix (Duncan Hines)
1 sm. can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
1 1/2 stick butter
1 pkg. Kraft caramels
1 c. walnuts or pecans
16 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Melt butter in large mixing bowl. Mix with 1/3 cup evaporated milk, nuts and cake mix. Beat by hand until smooth. Pat 1/2 batter on bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in microwave oven. Stir to mix well. Pour over baked batter. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over top. Spread remaining 1/2 batter over and bake for 30 minutes more. Let cool but cut before completely cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
