MEAT CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
4 med. size potatoes, sliced
2 med. onions, sliced or chopped
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. celery, sliced
1 can tomato soup & 1/2 can water

Put layer of potatoes in greased casserole (salt each layer a little), then a layer of onion, a layer of sliced carrots, layer of celery. Brown meat in 1 tablespoon butter, then put meat over top of all. Pour tomato soup mixed with water over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. The last half hour put grated or sliced cheese over top and leave lid off.
