BEEF CUBES AU VIN 
2 lbs. lean stew meat, cubed
4 onions, chopped
6 tbsp. butter, melted
7 c. fresh mushrooms
3/4 c. white wine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
1/4 tsp. rosemary, crushed
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped, fried, drained
2 c. sour cream

Brown meat and onions in butter. Add mushrooms, wine and seasonings to meat. Simmer (260 degrees) in electric fry pan for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until almost tender. Stir bacon and sour cream into meat and cook 30 minutes longer. Garnish with parsley. Serve with mashed potatoes, or buttered noodles with poppy seeds. Good with sweat/sour cabbage, coleslaw or cucumbers with vinegar and oil, and chives.
