PICANTE SAUCE 
4 qts. ripe tomatoes
4 onions
4 sweet bell peppers
8-10 jalapeno or hot peppers
4 cloves garlic
1 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. ground cumin
6 tsp. salt
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried oregano

Chop tomatoes, onions, peppers and garlic. Put in large kettle and add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Lower heat and simmer about 1 1/2 hours, stirring often. Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Process in hot water bath 10 minutes.
