SCALLOPED SCALLOPS 
1 pt. scallops
1/2 c. butter
1 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2/3 c. cream
Salt & pepper

Wash and pick over scallops. Melt butter and add crumbs. Put in a layer of crumbs in a buttered dish. Cover with scallops. Add half the cream and season with salt and pepper; repeat, cover with buttered bread crumbs. BAke in oven (350 degrees) until crumbs are brown, about 25 minutes.
