GROUND BEEF CHOW MEIN | |
1 lb. ground beef 2 c. thinly sliced celery 1 env. dry onion soup mix 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 to 3 tbsp. soy sauce 3 c. fresh bean sprouts Brown the ground beef with the celery in a skillet, stirring frequently. Sprinkle the onion soup mix and cornstarch over the ground beef. Add the soy sauce, 1 cup water and bean sprouts. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over Chinese noodles or hot cooked rice. Serves 6 to 8. |
