1 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped

Combine first 5 ingredients and cook over low flame. Cool. Add whipped cream and whip together. Serve over cake or baked apple.
