COWBOY BEANS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 (14-1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, drained 1 (14-1/2 oz.) can pork & beans 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed 2 tsp. white vinegar 2 tsp. mustard Brown beef with onion and green pepper in a 12" skillet; drain. Add remaining ingredients: simmer for 15 minutes. Place in a slow cooker: heat on low for 3 hours. Serves 6. Submitted by: Phyllis Chittum |
