BROCCOLI SOUP 
1 stick butter
8 tbsp. flour
3 cans Campbell's chicken broth
1 qt. half & half
Green onions, cut up finely
Pepper to taste
Approx. 3/4-2 lb. block Velveeta cheese
3-4 pkg. (10 oz.) chopped broccoli

Parboil broccoli and drain well. Remove any heavy leaves.

Make soup base by combining ingredients in the order listed. Melt butter. Add flour to make a paste. Gradually add chicken broth to make a smooth soup base. Then add the rest of the ingredients allowing onions to cook a little and cheese to melt. Then add well drained broccoli and simmer until hot and well blended. This Makes a good quantity.
