BONNIE'S SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat. Sift flour and dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream ending with flour mixture. Add vanilla. Pour 1/2 of batter into 9"x9"x2" greased cake pan. Sprinkle evenly with 1/2 of cinnamon topping. Add remaining batter and cover that with remaining topping. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes.
