SAUERKRAUT & SPARERIBS 
3 to 4 lbs. spareribs
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 med. apples, cored & chopped
2 lbs. sauerkraut
1/4 c. brown sugar

Brown ribs and season to taste with salt and pepper. Place layer of sauerkraut in 9 x 13 inch baking dish and layer with onions, apples and brown sugar (or toss all together). Top with ribs and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until ribs are tender. GOOD! 6 servings.
