CHUCK WAGON BEANS | |
1/2 lb. bacon, crumbled 3 lb. ground beef 3 c. chopped onion (or dry onion to taste) 1 c. chopped celery 2 beef bouillon cubes 2/3 c. boiling water 1 1/2 c. catsup 3 tbsp. mustard 1 1/2 cloves minced garlic 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 (29 oz.) baked beans with molasses and brown sugar Cook beef, onion and celery until brown and tender. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Stir bouillon and remaining ingredients into meat mixture. Cover and bake 1 hour, 15 minutes until hot and bubbly. Crumble bacon over top. Makes 12 servings. |
