CHUCK WAGON BISCUITS 
2 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
2 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. oil
7 c. flour
3 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Combine yeast and warm water in a small mixing bowl, stirring to dissolve; let stand 5 minutes. Add buttermilk and oil to yeast mixture; stir well. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add buttermilk mixture; stirring with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead 3 to 4 times. Shape dough into 2-inch balls, place in 3 greased cake pans. Cover and let rise for 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 minutes until brown. Makes 3 dozen.
