1/3 c. butter 1 c. flour 1/3 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. nuts (ground) Cream butter, sugar, flour and mix. Add nuts. Save 3/4 cup crumbs. Press this in an 8"x8" pan and bake 12 to 15 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cool. Mix: 8 oz. cream cheese 1/4 c. white sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. lemon juice Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg. Beat again, then add milk, lemon juice, and vanilla. Beat again. Spread over cooled crust. Then add 3/4 cup crumbs you saved. Put on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool and cut in 24 pieces. |
